#who?

GenZ & Seniors > My client's patients age range vary from 18 to +80 years old.

I created two personas, one for each target, with their own very specific need. GenZ seek modernity, content and personalization. Meanwhile seniors seek intuitiveness, simplicity and durability.

#where-to-start?

I started by adapting her corporate identity to make it fit digital constraint. My main concern was contrast, I wanted the colors to be contrasted enough to strengthen the accessibility of the website. So I created slightly darker versions of her colors.

We also discussed fonts, I advised a handwritten one to reinforce the humanity and emotional aspect of her website. Then we coupled it with a sans-serif one for professionalism, clarity and modernity.

At the same time, I began to strengthen the security of his website by installing the appropriate cybersecurity plug-ins. Anti-virus software, regular backups, frequent scans to detect potential malware, etc.

Ideation & Iteration

Ideation & Iteration

#what-focus?

I redesigned the existing pages keeping in mind her professional constraints. I also took care to adapt my designs to the personas previously mentioned.

#what-differentiation?

I applied the principles of Green UX as much as possible. I reduced the weight of images, implemented lazy-loading, minimized and compacted JS and CSS, and worked on the cache.

The result ? A website category C and cleaner than 64% of all web pages globally (according to websitecarbon.org).

Iteration & Additional Work

Iteration & Additional Work

#lets-go?

I began the redesign by creating new designs for the existing pages (Homepage, Consultations, Contact, and About me). I designed keeping in mind the challenges and needs expressed by the two personas presented earlier.

#how-do-we-differentiate?

I applied Green UX principles as much as possible. I reduced image weight, applied lazy loading to images, minimized and compressed JS and CSS files, and optimized the cache.

The result? A category C website that is cleaner than 64% of web pages worldwide (according to websitecarbon.org).

#lets-sell-your-products?

My client ambitoned her website to be an e-commerce platform. So I implemented WooCommerce, configured the back office, set up payment methods, and installed a conversion funnel template.

She then took care of creating the product listings while I handled the design (shop page + product page + shopping cart page + checkout page).

#lets-create-meaningful-content?

To go further and be able to focus what really matters during consultations, my client needed a space where she could publish all her recommendations on the topics she regularly adresses with her patients.

The solution? A blog page. So I created a blog section integrated into her website. I also created templates so she wouldn't have to worry about the design of her articles. All she has to do now is write!

We are going to conduct a small user research with our target audience to ensure that my designs and user journeys, as I have designed them, meet their needs. We will adapt the site based on the test results.
