Our app currently allows users to track various metrics related to their shoes such as distance and duration. However, the existing feature is outdated, visually misaligned with the brand, and built with legacy technology.
Leading the whole design process from ideation to delivery.
#what-was-tough?
Staying true to my ideas / designs while implementing feedbacks from 3 different stakeholder groups: designers, developers and product managers.
Knowing when to stop iterating.
#what-did-I-learn?
Create components for the design system.
Host and moderate a workshop with different stakeholders.
Professional grow: advocate for users needs and defend my design decisions.
#what-is-UX-research-saying?
Users need technical guidance on how their running shoes are aging
Users need guidance on how to choose their running shoes
Users usually engage with physical stores as their last touchpoint, even after navigating online
#how-do-we-prioritize?
I co-hosted a workshop gathering designers, product managers and developers to cluster and prioritize properly the opportunities.
We had 4 clusters: UX/UI improvements, findability, guidance and adidas ecosystem.
Exploration
1st scenario: the user is tracking adidas shoes (characteristics are known)
2nd scenario: the user has recently bought adidas running shoes and he has the same account for the flagship app and the running app
3rd scenario: the user wants to track shoes from other brands
